In which sizes can I buy the wind wheel?

The windmills are available in different sizes. You will find the right wind wheel for the small balcony as well as for the spacious garden. Before buying, think carefully about where you would like to place the wind turbine and how much space it can occupy.

We currently offer the wind wheels in the following sizes:

• Giant size 180 cm length, 25 kg weight
• Large size: 90 to 100 cm length, 4 kg weight
• Medium size: : 60 to 70 cm length, 2 kg weight
• Small size: 45 to 50 cm length, 1 kg weight
• Mini size: 32 to 37 cm length, 500 g weight

How are wind wheels manufactured in South Tyrol?

All our windwheels are made of real wood in Val Gardena in South Tyrol. Our experienced carvers lovingly handcraft each of the moving figures.

What wood are the wind wheels made of?

Only by using selected and robust wood we can guarantee that your windmill will remain a beautiful decoration for a long time in the garden, on the balcony or terrace. For the production we therefore use selecteds Larch wood, which is particularly weather-resistant and durable. To prevent the windmill from being damaged by extreme wetness and cold, the wood is additionally glazed twice with a transparent varnish.

Tip: To keep the wood beautiful for a longer period of time and to prevent it from turning grey over time, we recommend treating it with glaze once or twice a year.

What other materials is the wind wheel made of?

All decorative windmills have metal parts and a drive made of weather-resistant aluminium, which ensures that the windwheel rotates quickly and very quietly in the wind. The screws and nuts are made of galvanised steel. The round belts and gearwheels used are also very durable, so that your garden decoration will give you lasting pleasure.

Correct installation of decorative wind wheel for garden & balcony

You can place the wind mill on the floor or easily attach it to the wall of your house using one of our wall brackets (for wind wheels in sizes: 60 to 70 cm, 45 to 50 cm, 90 to 100 cm) Alternatively, you can drill holes in the base or mount the wind mill with band clamps.

To ensure that the product reaches you undamaged, we deliver the actual wheel separately in a package. To set it up, you can quickly and easily mount the wheel yourself as described above.

Important: When mounting the wheel, make sure that it is securely and firmly screwed to the bracket before use and that the wind turbine is horizontal.
